Job Summary
Clinicians working with ADHD 360 are part of a dedicated team, committed to patient excellence and are expected to deliver treatment with empathy, focus, and commitment. As an integral part of our organization, the ADHD Clinical function is responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating and monitoring treatment plans. You will possess a strong understanding of evidence-based practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting, providing essential services to individuals receiving care services for ADHD.
This role will support the clinical function to monitor, review, and investigate clinical activity to ensure we respond, learn, develop, and act appropriately with all clinical activity.

Job Responsibilities
Job Title: Clinical Governance Lead
Location: Home Based with Monthly Attendance at our Lincoln Offices
Department: Clinical
Reports To: Medical Director
Salary: £42,000
Hours: 40 Hours per week (To be confirmed at Interview)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Chairing the Clinical Governance meeting, ensuring an appropriate standing agenda and sharing of minutes.
* Oversight and review of clinical policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), ensuring that they are relevant to practice, up to date, and that any amendments are circulated to the team.
* Quality assurance of clinical prescribing standards, working alongside the Quality Assurance team to identify any prescribing concerns, highlighting themes or individual concerns, and liaising with the medical directorate to formulate an appropriate action plan.
* Owning responsibility for the completion of the Quality Assurance monthly report to feedback to the Business Meeting.
* Acting as the lead link person for clinical quality and assurance for the organization, considering clinical standards, safety, and efficacy of practice.
* Leading ADHD 360's patient safety and incident response framework network (PSIRF), incident reporting, investigation, and lessons learned.
* Ensuring all clinical investigations are completed on time and recommendations are embedded into practice.
* Working with the Medical Director to monitor, report, and embed learning and recommendations following investigations and changes in practice.
* Monthly report to be produced for the Clinical Governance meeting covering clinical areas such as complaints, education and training, audit, PSIRF, investigations, clinical effectiveness incidents, and near-miss events.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified nurse, current UK registration and PIN with the NMC (Essential).
* Qualified Non-medical Prescriber (NMP) with current registration (Desirable).
* ADHD experience (Desirable).
* To work unsupervised and independently within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct (Essential).
* Experience of undertaking risk assessments and contributing to the risk register.
* Experience investigating complaints and incidents with attention to detail, ensuring that lessons are learned and embedded within the new norm.
* Understanding the Care Quality Commission.
* Previous experience in Clinical Governance and quality assurance (Essential).
* Training in PSIRF and investigations (Desirable).
* Demonstrable knowledge of clinical governance, patient safety agendas, and an ambition for effective learning and continuous development across the organization.
Demonstrable Skills:
* Demonstrable ability to connect with, and provide support for children and/or adults.
* Familiarity with electronic patient record (EPR) systems.
* Willingness to learn and follow clinical standards of practice.
* Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with staff and patients.
* Sufficient IT skills to be able to undertake a remote post.
* Ability to work alongside others within a multi-disciplinary team setting.
* Professional approach consistent with regulatory body expectations.
* Excellent time management and ability to manage own workload.
* Previous line management experience.
* Strong desire to uphold clinical standards and deliver best practice.
