Are you passionate about helping students reach their full potential? Humly is looking for a Teaching Assistant to provide targeted intervention support for students preparing for KS1 and KS2 SATs. This role is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact, helping children build confidence and master key skills in literacy and numeracy in a nurturing and structured environment.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 15:30 (30-minute lunch break)
Total Weekly Hours: 35 hours
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Deliver structured intervention sessions in literacy and numeracy to help students prepare for their SATs assessments.
* Work 1:1 and in small groups to support students in reading comprehension, maths reasoning, and SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation, and Grammar).
* Monitor student progress, identifying areas where extra support is needed and adapting interventions accordingly.
* Provide encouragement and motivation, helping students develop confidence and exam readiness.
* Collaborate with teachers and school staff to ensure intervention strategies align with classroom learning objectives.
* Foster a calm, focused, and supportive learning environment, ensuring all students feel comfortable and engaged.
What You’ll Bring:
* Experience working with children in a primary school or Key Stage 2 setting.
* A patient, structured, and proactive approach to supporting student learning.
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills, with knowledge of SATs curriculum expectations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build confidence in young learners.
