Join our dynamic HR team at Wealden District Council and play a key role in delivering our ambitious people strategy. We are looking for a proactive and experienced HR Officer to provide additional general HR support during the implementation of our new HR system.
This is a varied and rewarding role, offering the opportunity to contribute across multiple HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, policy development, and organisational change. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that is committed to making a real difference for our employees and the wider organisation.

What We’re Looking For:
Strong generalist HR experience with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Confidence in handling a variety of HR queries and supporting managers with best practice guidance
Experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally within the public sector (desirable but not essential)
A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
CIPD HR Level 3 minimum, working towards CIPD level 5
