Job summary St Leonards is a friendly Practice based in Exeter city centre. With a population/list size of approximately 9,600 patients we are an active practice that has been rated as outstanding on our last CQC inspection. We are a world renowned, well published, research and teaching practice with a keen interest in continuity of care. An opportunity has arisen, for an experienced practice nurse position within the Practice for approx. 20-30 hours a week over 3-4 days (one of which will be a Friday) on a permanent basis. We are a seven Partner practice. Our nursing team includes two nurse practitioners, alongside a two practice nurses and two experienced HCAs. We also have clinical pharmacists, social prescribers, mental health support workers and first contact physiotherapists who support the team. Main duties of the job The focus of the role is the delivery of evidence-based practice for patients with long term conditions as well as childrens and womens health and treatment room procedures. A keen interest and experience in diabetes management is essential as well as experience in ABPI/ doppler procedures and care.
