Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a primary school located in Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant. The school is in a great location in the centre of Stoke with excellent transport links. Staff at the school are committed to the development of the students as a whole, using their Personal Development curriculum to ensure all pupils acquire skills and knowledge to prepare them for a future of learning.
This role is great for recent graduates or those who are looking to gain experience within a mainstream primary school. The successful candidate would be providing 1-1 support for students who require additional academic and behavioural support. They would also be supporting the teacher day to day, ensuring all behaviour policies are followed.
Requirements:
* Experience with young people is preferred but not required for this role.
* Safeguarding training (this can be done through Teaching Personnel).
* References from your 2 previous employers.
About the role:
* Immediate start upon Teaching Personnel registration.
* Full-time role.
* Opportunity to earn between £85-95 per day (dependent on experience).
