The role of the Porter is to support the smooth day to day operational running of our hospital that will provide a safe healthcare environment Main duties of the job General portering duties will include: have good communication skills have a flexible and adaptable approach to prioritise workload have good customer service skills be friendly and approachable be reliable with good time management have the ability to work in a physical environment have the ability to work individually and as part of a team have awareness of Infection Prevention and Control practices within a healthcare environment be passionate about delivering a high quality service Previous portering experience is desirable though full training will be given. Uniform and PPE will be provided. About us Pilgrim Hospital is situated beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service. Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area.
