A majorly backed Energy Solutions based business with a strong presence across the entire UK is looking for a Regional Maintenance Manager to join their business to cover and coordinate Maintenance, PPM, and oversee CAPEX responsibilities across their portfolio of sites in the South of England.
Reporting into the Head of Engineering, the right candidate will have a strong engineering background, ideally with good exposure to managing multiple sites and strong experience of working in a highly regulated environment such as Fuel, Petroleum, Oil & Gas, Chemical, or Hazardous waste.
This is a remote role, and you will be required to manage your own diary and be able to attend sites from areas of the Midlands, the South, and Wales.
Role: Regional Maintenance Manager (South)
Salary: up to £60k + bonus + company car + benefits
Location: South of England (access to roads, trains, airports)
Responsibilities for the Regional Maintenance Manager will include:
1. Developing and delivering strategic plans for assigned business areas for engineering incorporating business objectives and strategies.
2. Developing standards, specifications, and applications for the business unit assets including maintenance strategy and investment scope.
3. Reviewing and understanding inspection, maintenance, and engineering reports, identifying remedial works, and effectively planning and action tracking required works through to completion.
4. Assisting in the development of capital expenditure plans for fuel depots and terminals.
5. Managing engineering contractor management throughout the business unit, reviewing RAMS, and ensuring works are planned specific to site.
6. Ensuring preventative planned maintenance task schedules are appropriately set for respective sites, ensuring regulatory and legislative compliance is maintained at all times.
7. Managing contractor interface with operations within the business unit.
8. Aligning with Senior/Regional operations teams day to day to support and manage engineering within the function.
9. Developing, monitoring, and managing works within the R&M engineering budgets.
10. Reviewing engineering HSE performance within assigned business units and providing feedback on improvements.
Requirements for the Regional Maintenance Manager:
1. Hold a relevant engineering qualification within a specific discipline.
2. Ability to develop standards and specifications against legislation and industry best practices.
3. Experience in Engineering Management - ideally across a group or a number of sites.
4. Ideally located in the South of England (positioned to cover UK).
5. Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships internally and externally.
6. Experience working in regulated environments (Fuel, Petroleum, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Hazardous waste).
7. Autonomy to manage diary.
8. Knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations.
