The Governors and Headteacher of St Anne’s RC Primary School are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant, preferable with EYFS experience to work with our children in our caring and supportive school. To start as soon as possible.
We are looking for someone who:
* Is positive, flexible, inspirational and self-motivated
* Has experience and sound knowledge of working in a school environment. EYFS experience preferred
* Is aware of and comply with child protection procedures, health and safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting any concerns to the relevant member of staff
* Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school
* Is an excellent practitioner
* Is very professional and a good team player
* Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school
* Has high expectations for all children and is committed to developing their full potential
* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and competent ICT skills
* Has an energetic and creative approach to learning
The role will include:
* Supervising and providing particular support for pupils, including those with special needs ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
* Work with groups of children under the supervision of the teacher including the delivery of programmes of work and implementation of ILPs
* Giving regular feedback on children’s progress to the class teacher and file records
* Attending to children’s personal needs, including pastoral, social, health, physical hygiene, minor first aid and welfare matters
