Quantity Surveyor - High End Residential
Location: Swindon
Salary / Package: £75,000-£90,000 + Car + Pension
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor? Or an Intermediate wanting to make the step up? Do you have an eye for detail? Wanting to work on some leading construction projects? This could be the next step to unlocking the rest of your career.
Responsibilities
1. Pricing/forecasting the cost of the different components needed for a project.
2. Tracking changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections in line with these.
3. Selecting and/or sourcing construction materials.
4. Sourcing contractors and/or subcontractors to work on the construction stage of the project.
5. Measuring and valuing the work done on site.
6. Dealing with financial and legal problems.
7. Paying subcontractors.
8. Liaising with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers.
Requirements
1. Educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying, although other equivalent qualifications may be accepted (HNC/HND).
2. Members of a relevant professional body e.g. CICES, RICS.
3. Experienced in working on Projects with a minimum value of £5 Million.
4. Full UK Driving Licence.
