What you'll be doing
Your core activity will be to:
1. Have overall responsibility for the successful completion of projects and to lead by example, managing the day to day deliverables and governance
2. Manage the pipeline of project activity ensuring that all projects are set up for success, prioritised and the appropriate governance stage gates are managed throughout
3. Work with key stakeholders to create a clear strategy for HR data (data categories, who owns what, process to maintain, GDPR compliance and audits)
4. Put in place and deliver a structure of regular audit and data cleanse processes for personal, job and HR master data
5. Document our HR data landscape and journey ensuring compliance with GDPR
6. Ensure roles,responsibilities and processes for change are clearly communicated and understood by stakeholders
7. Pro-actively lead HR teams through organisational data changes supporting an efficient end to end process
8. Work with COEs, HR MI team, HRSS admin, non core HR system owners and other key stakeholders to ensure data alignment across all HR systems and processes
9. Build relationships within the HR team and wider stakeholder groups to ensure data and system impacts are considered as part of any change activity and taken into account
10. Continuously review and work to improve the governance and processes associated with HR systems and data project activities
11. Support, coach and motivate your team members providing regular feedback and direction
12. Continuously review progress against project deliverables and timelines, adjusting priorities and flagging issues/conflicts and risks in good time
13. Lead regular meetings to monitor performance of projects against targets, KPIs and deliverables ensuring these are maintained and reported on to key parties on a regular basis.
Who we're looking for
The following Skills and experience are essential:
14. Proven experience of successfully delivering projects within a governance framework with an understanding of project management methodologies
15. Knowledge of GDPR legislation and its application to HR people data and structures
16. Comfortable in a senior team environment with experience of engaging a range of stakeholders to make decisions, deliver projects, implement and land change effectively
17. Ability to assimilate information quickly and accurately, be well organised with a collaborative, proactive style and cope well with a fast paced environment, managing a dynamic workload with changing priorities
18. Experience of coaching, empowering and motivating a team, demonstrating a positive attitude and behaviours to align to business, project and team objectives
19. Experience of process re-engineering and landing change initiatives within a business context
