Permanent, Part Time (22.5 hours per week over 3 days - preferably Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
The Vacancy
We are looking for an Occupational Health Advisor to deliver a high quality, consistent and professional occupational health service. You will report to the Senior Occupational Health Advisor, with a dotted line responsibility to the EHS Manager.
Responsibilities include:
* All Health Surveillance as identified by risk assessment such as: Audiometry, Spirometry, Vision, FLT driver Medicals, Hot Worker Medicals, Night Worker Medicals.
* Travel medicine including travel vaccinations.
* Well Person Screening.
* Case Management.
* Health Promotion.
* Sickness Absence Management.
* Pre-Employment Medicals to include drug testing.
* Support to Mental Health First Aiders.
* Attendance as EHS committee meetings.
In addition, you will also be responsible for electronic OH data, providing statistics and carrying out specific project work as requested by the HR or EHS Managers.
You and Your Skills
You will be a Registered General Nurse with an active PIN with no restrictions or conditions and you will hold an Occupational Health qualification. You will have recent experience of the full Occupational Health remit preferably within manufacturing. Case management experience is essential.
You will be able to work autonomously, engaging and building positive relationships and helping to shape the occupational health service within the Group Functions based at the European Technical Centre.
A full UK driving licence and car ownership will be required as public transport to the Lathom site is limited.
