Are you a qualified Vehicle Mechanic looking for a new challenge? The Army needs lots of different vehicles and equipment, from tanks and quad bikes to HGVs and Land Rovers. Keeping them in good working order is a big job which is the responsibility of the Vehicle Mechanics. You will keep our vehicles on the road. It’s a great experience and we’ll give you first-class training.
We are looking for a friendly, well-organised individuals to work alongside other civilians and military personnel and be part of the team.
The posts are full-time positions and are advertised at 37 hours per week.

As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for a range of duties related to vehicle maintenance and repair. Your responsibilities will include:
Maintenance, servicing and inspections for all relevant equipment platforms in accordance with policy.
Forecast Maintenance in line with business priorities.
Maintain issued personal tools, equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Supervise and manage the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) locker
Monitor the Lifting and Recovery Equipment (LRE) within the Workshop, identify and quarantine out of date equipment by way of before and after use checks.
Conduct asset management activity in accordance with policy.
Demand and receipt spares in accordance with policy
Demonstrate the highest possible standards of Engineering hygiene.
Any other reasonable duties or details within their area of responsibility.
