Highfield Community Pre-School are looking to recruit a Deputy Manager for our pre-school based in Keighley. The position is Monday to Friday, 32.5 hours a week, term time only. We are looking for a Deputy Manager who can motivate, engage and inspire our staff team, enabling them to provide the best education and care for the children who attend pre-school. We are looking for somebody who is passionate and has good communication skills to liaise with staff and also the families who attend the setting.
The applicant must hold at least a Level 3 qualification in childcare/early years and have the equivalent to Level 2 in maths and have at least 2 years managerial experience.
They must:
Have good communication skills
Be able to lead a team of practitioners
Be able to follow guidelines from Ofsted
Have an exceptional level of knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
