About The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students thrive academically and socially. Working closely with teachers, you’ll offer dedicated support tailored to meet individual student needs, helping foster an engaging and supportive learning environment. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one and small group support in literacy, numeracy, and other key subjects. Assist with lesson planning, classroom activities, and the preparation of resources. Promote positive behaviour and engagement with learning. Support students with additional learning needs or special educational requirements. Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure a consistent, nurturing approach. Requirements Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children in an educational setting is preferred. A compassionate, patient approach to student interactions. Strong communication skills and adaptability. Relevant qualifications or experience are beneficial but not essential. To Work With GSL Education, You Will Need Have the right to work in the UK. Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years. Have a DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
