Main Duties & Responsibilities To answer incoming telephone calls in a prompt and professional manner, responding to each call appropriately and accurately, recording and relaying information as required. Provide patients with information as requested (at all times taking consideration to rules and procedures regarding confidentiality). To receive patients in the reception area noting their attendance on the computerised appointment system and scheduling appointments as requested. Oversee and supervise the patient waiting area. Extraction of patient medical records. Produce computerised repeat prescriptions. To enter and update information on computerised systems including registration information. General and confidential filing, including records, reports and mail. To collate and distribute post. General duties in connection with Practice administration.
