Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, we are looking for an experienced Quality Technician to join our busy team. This role will be based at our site in Nantwich.

Rhino Products Group are Europe’s leading manufacturer of roof racks, steps and accessories for commercial vehicles. In early 2020, we opened a new 87,000 sq ft purpose-built manufacturing and head office facility in Ellesmere Port, with excellent modern staff facilities in addition to the existing site in Deeside, 55,000sqft. Most recently we have opened an additional site based at Nantwich, Cheshire.

The purpose of this role is to identify the most important internal and external quality concerns, determine the root cause and implement a robust corrective action to prevent recurrence. The results of which will drive down the cost of poor quality, improve right first time and improve customer satisfaction.
Duties:
1. Support final product audits via Safety Culture tablet audits
2. Follow ISO9001:2015 (Quality) & ISO14001:2015 (Environmental) procedures and systems
3. Support internal audit programme and shop floor audits
4. Assessing & completing customer returns for return to stock, using associated paperwork and smart sheet system
5. Compiling customer return analysis for review and ensuring data is displayed on SQCDP & KPI boards
6. Completing goods inward inspections and completion of associated paperwork where required
7. Supporting external product testing and development e.g.: trial builds and sample fits
8. Completing non-conformance reporting paperwork and systems where required to arrange return to the supplier base
9. Ensure production parts are successfully quarantined on our system for internal rejects. Process quality concerns/inspection audit investigations to support production
10. Perform and contribute to continuous improvement activities
Skills that will help you in the role:
1. Previous experience in a similar role would be preferable, however in house training will be provided
2. Willingness to learn and have a keen eye for detail
3. Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal
4. Microsoft skills would be desirable
5. Able to work under own initiative
