My client is currently looking for a Process Technologist. This is a chance to join a very successful, category-leading food business.

To manage the conversion of your new product development concepts into factory manufacturability products whist meeting the agreed standards between the supplier, customer and business. Actively seeking new process improvements to improve factory efficiencies & throughputs.
The role:
To manage the conversion of your given new product development concepts into factory manufacturability products while meeting the agreed standards between the supplier, customer and business. Actively seeking new process improvements to improve factory efficiencies & throughputs.
You will take a lead role in line trials and validation for new products as well as changes to existing ones. Input on process design and development, support with commissioning new equipment and continuous improvement initiatives are also a key part of the role where you will work closely with the engineering and CI teams.
You will also work closely with the technical teams to set best practice for product validation and verification through test method and test equipment.
The candidate:
* (Preferred but not required) Degree in food Science / technology or related discipline
* Minimum 2 years working in a food manufacturing environment.
* Able to work on own initiative and within a team.
* Able to manage factory trials.
* Understanding of factory processes.
* Knowledge of product profile, quality standards and food manufacturing.
* Able to adhere to and improve the NPD process.
