JOB PURPOSE
Soil Science Ltd are looking for a proficient construction administrator to support the back-office functions of the business. This role will be fast paced and varied and will require flexibility, and the ability to multi task will be a must have.
This role would be working 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday (25 hours per week).
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is to support the project manager with all the following requirements, including:
* Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth functioning.
* Maintain organized records and handle data entry.
* Liaise with H.O about supplier invoice queries/supplier payment requests.
* Coordinate communication between departments and act as a point of contact for staff.
* Managing training schedules/site card accreditations.
* Assisting with the processing of timesheets/sub-contractor invoices.
* Co-ordinate hotel bookings for site personnel.
* Assist with new supplier/customer requests.
* Providing general support to the Operations and Site teams.
* Support management with ad hoc tasks and special projects as required.
* Responsibility for compliance and discharging legal duties with regards to HR and Health & Safety to promote a safe, equitable and legally compliant work place.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB
* Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
* Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
* Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
* Commercially and fiscally astute.
* Experience within the construction industry(Desirable).
* UK Driving license (Desirable).
