Support young children's early learning and development in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support day-to-day activities, including play, learning, and meal times.
• Assist in planning and delivering activities promoting children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of all children.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging confidence and independence.
• Work collaboratively with nursery staff and teachers to maintain a supportive and inclusive environment.
• Assist with nursery preparation and tidying.
• Observe and monitor children's progress, contributing to records and reports.
• Communicate with parents and carers, providing updates on children's development and well-being.
Requirements:
• Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
• Caring, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting children's development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
• Relevant childcare qualifications.
