Quality Assurance Officer
Hybrid Role (3 days in the office, 2 from home) - Preston, Lancashire, PR4 2DQ
Monday - Friday - 8:30 am to 5 pm
Salary: Up to £27,000

In this exciting new role you will be working to provide a Quality Assurance compliance service to the Operations Team to ensure GMP and Pharmaceutical licence standards are met.

Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain supplier assurance documentation for APIs and Excipients including supply chain maps, excipient risk assessments and accreditation certificates.
* Management of controlled documentation e.g., SOPs, Work instructions, Forms, Policies
* Initiate investigations into customer complaints and respond accordingly
* Perform and write up Internal audits in line with company schedule
* To aid participate in regulatory and certification audits
* Co-ordination and generation of the export documentation
* Prepare annual Product Quality Review’s (PQRs)
* Check and authorise QC documentation
* Notify products to FSAI
* Undertake product registrations with the Soil Association and Vegan Society
* To write SOP’s, specifications, protocols and reports as required
* To complete all documentation accurately & to meet deadlines
* To co-ordinate the companies CAPA process and pursue up outstanding actions
