Our expertise as a multi-disciplinary engineering partner across infrastructure, process and digital services has led to long term partnerships with leading organisations in everything from food and drink and utilities to high-security industries such as defence, aerospace and nuclear. \n\nWe are currently recruiting a Mobile HVAC Engineers to join our team, ensuring the smooth operation of HVAC systems across a number commercial sites in South Wales / South West.
This position is ideal for experienced breakdown engineers with expertise in reactive maintenance and repairs.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPerform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and replacing filters, recordkeeping. \n\t\nInstall, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems\n\t\nDiagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and make necessary repairs.\n\t\nTest HVAC systems to ensure they are operating at optimal levels.\n\t\nResponsible for statutory compliance of F-Gas\n\t\nCarry out installation of air conditioning systems when required.\n\t\nProduction of detail technical quotations - including correct parts and labour times required to ensure profitability, cost control and client satisfaction.\n\t\nMaintain strict compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.\n\t\nKeep detailed records of all maintenance work performed.\n\t\nEscalate issues to Supervisor/Contract Manager immediately.\n\t\nForm part of the out of hours call out rota, attend emergency repair works as required.\n\t\nCollaborate effectively with a skilled team to achieve client objectives.\n\t\nTo liaise with specialist sub-contractors and engineers with other disciplines to ensure the efficient operation of the plant / area without disruption to the client. \n\t\nAccurately document completed work and materials used.\n\t\nCollaborate with colleagues for smooth and effective operations.\n\nSkills and Experience\n\nExperience of working on a range of Air Conditioning equipment including VRVs, VRFs, and Splits\n\t\nOutstanding communication and teamwork capabilities.\n\t\nDemonstrated expertise in commercial facilities maintenance.\n\t\nExceptional problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.\n\t\nBe able to operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentation.\n\t\nStrong fault-finding experience is essential in this role, and you will be expected to carry out works on traditional plant equipment right through to more modern systems\n\t\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\n\t\nTo carry out work in a safe and diligent manner\n\nSpecific Qualifications\n\nNVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration or Air Conditioning, FGAS Certification.\n\t\nProven background in HVAC maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.\n\t\nIPAF/PASMA Beneficial\n\t\nHold a valid UK driving licence.\n\nClean UK driver’s license.\n\nDue to the nature of the contract, you will need to go through contract specific vetting – DBS, financial and employment background checks\n\nWhat we offer\n\nA competitive salary and benefits package appropriate to this position\n\t\nAn employer who values the ongoing wellbeing of its employees\n\t\nCareer development within a successful and growing business\n\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
