The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our technical infrastructure, managing a team of technical professionals, and collaborating with various departments to support the company's goals and objectives. This role also includes overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our ERP systems, as well as developing and executing a location strategy. Role Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day technical operations, ensuring the reliability and performance of all systems and infrastructure. Manage and lead a team of technical professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities. Collaborate with other departments, including Group Technology, Client Operations, and Client Success, to ensure alignment and support for technical initiatives. Develop and implement technical strategies and plans to support the company's objectives and improve operational efficiency. Monitor and analyse system performance, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Manage technical projects, including planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and best practices. Develop and maintain documentation for technical processes, procedures, and systems. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal and external stakeholders as needed. Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of ERP systems to ensure they meet the organization's needs and objectives. Coordinate with ERP vendors and service providers to ensure effective support and service delivery. Train and support staff on the use of ERP systems, ensuring they are utilized effectively and efficiently. Analyse and improve ERP system processes to enhance productivity and operational efficiency. Develop and execute a location strategy to optimize the placement of technical resources and infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational efficiency. Evaluate and select technology vendors and solutions that align with the location strategy, negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships. Experience / Competences Essential Proven experience in a technical operations management role, preferably within a similar industry. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail. Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, with a commitment to staying current with relevant technologies and best practices. Experience with project management, including planning, execution, and delivery. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Experience with ERP systems, including implementation, maintenance, and optimization. Experience in developing and executing location strategies. Desired Master's degree in a related field. Experience with specific technologies or systems relevant to the company's operations. Certifications in relevant areas, such as ITIL, PMP, or similar.
