Wallace Hall Academy
You will be required to work 30.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, Monday to Friday from 08:24 am to 14:30 pm.
This position is to take charge of a large school kitchen. You will receive direction and support from your line manager.
Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
1. Organising the day-to-day running of the kitchen;
2. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
3. Approaching problem management with ease;
4. Dealing with any complaints.
Preferred Knowledge
Having knowledge of the following would be beneficial:
1. Evaluating food costs;
2. Menu planning;
3. Managing the kitchen budget;
4. H.A.S.A.W. and Cooksafe;
5. Following procedures;
6. Current food trends and customer awareness.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
