As Operations Manager you will be responsible for the effective leadership and operational performance. This is a key leadership role where you will have a significant impact on the business culture, practices and growth and will lead, develop and drive the business while ensuring we continue to deliver the very best quality care and service.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Providing strong inspirational leadership to the individual Care Homes within your region and across the company whilst ensuring the highest possible standards of care and resident outcomes.
2. Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
3. Implementing and monitoring improvement plans for enhanced quality of care financial performance.
4. Establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with key external stakeholders.
The Ideal Operations Manager will have:
1. Extensive experience in an Area Management role with responsibility for multi-site operations in nursing and residential care.
2. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to achieving goals with the ability to plan/prioritise work and make effective decisions.
3. Ideally, a background in nursing or hold a degree level equivalent management or professional qualification.
4. A current driving licence and a willingness to travel.
5. Understanding of care regulation, identify indicators of poor performance and poor quality and act.
About you:
1. You will be preferably nurse qualified or have extensive nursing home experience.
2. You will have experience at a senior/operational manager level within nursing homes.
3. Experienced in managing large staff teams on a multisite basis.
4. Excellent CQC knowledge with a proven track record of supporting homes in achieving GOOD CQC grades.
5. Multi-site experience.
6. Full driving licence & live within a commutable distance from the Teeside area.
