The Council-run South Essex Parking Partnership (SEPP) led by Chelmsford City Council, is an organisation which brings together all street-based parking services in South Essex and are currently recruiting.
We are currently seeking customer focused individuals with experience of working with the public and hold a full UK (manual) driving licence to join our team of Civil Enforcement Officers operating in the city of Chelmsford based at the Civic Centre.
There are two roles available within the team, which are:
• ‘Standard Shift’ team – Monday to Saturday - 7.4 hours per shift from 8am to 4pm and Midday to 8pm (as per set rota) averaging 37 hours per week
• ‘Late Shift’ team – Monday to Saturday – 7.4 hours per shift from Midday to 8pm and 2pm to 10pm (as per set rota) averaging 37 hours per week
Working together with other Civil Enforcement Officers within teams, activities will include patrolling parking areas to ensure the safe and free flow of traffic. This being achieved by working with and providing information to members of the public on parking and other related issues along with the issuing of penalty change notices where appropriate.
