The purpose of the Software Engineering Professional for Microservices role is to provide technology expertise to drive the delivery of outcomes as well as coach and other software engineering in the team. The role is focused on best practices, technology, and delivering business value through high quality software.
What you’ll be doing
1. Provide technology expertise to design and deliver Integration services as scalable containerized microservices.
2. Make complex technical decisions on technology and architecture to support the Microservices roadmap and migrations.
3. Be the technical lead on migrating the existing microservices to AWS DCP environment, involves making complex technical decisions and technology choices.
4. Lead on the implementation of tools and automation processes to support continuous delivery and developer productivity.
5. The role will focus on best practices, technology, and delivering business value through high quality software.
6. Write, test, and review code. Where needed refine as needed and communicate this to the wider Microservices dev team.
7. Deliver solutions that meet customer’s requirements, including necessary design consultations, documentation, automated testing, deployments and in-life support and driving business performance, efficiency and continuous improvement within the team.
8. Provide coaching and act as a mentor to junior members of the Microservices team.
