About the role
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced and self-motivated Income Management Manager who will focus on maximising the collection of rent, recover arrears, coordinate and control legal action, by providing advice to its customers.
The role will include line management of Income Officers, the Former Tenant and Sundry Debt Officer, and the Home Ownership Officer, carrying out one-to-one supervision meetings, team meetings, and quality audits to ensure high-quality services are delivered to our customers and income management targets are achieved.
The role will be working within the Homes and Communities and supporting and developing a team of Intensive Housing Management Officers based within Trident Reach, reporting on Key Performance Indicators across Trident Group.

About You
We are looking for someone with experience in housing management or supported housing and income management as well as an understanding of current housing issues and legislation.
* Ability to lead and manage the performance of the Income team
* Embed an approach of continuous improvement and development of processes within the team, while contributing to Policy and Procedures review
* Ability to manage a varied and busy workload to meet targets and deadlines
* Considerable knowledge of housing, welfare benefits, and financial inclusion to maximise household income
* Strong written and verbal communication skills and good organisational abilities
* Effective time management skills
* IT skills and fully conversant with Microsoft Office and computerised Housing Rents applications
