We are seeking an enthusiastic
Support Worker
to join our friendly and dynamic team.
Role Summary
As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in ensuring our residents live active, independent, and fulfilling lives.
You will be part of a team that creates a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. No two days are the same, as our homes are always buzzing with activities and outings!
Work Pattern:
5 out of 7 days per week, including weekends and bank holidays Driving Requirement : Essential for transporting residents to activities and appointments
The ideal candidate will therefore need to be flexible, fun, supportive and confident driving our residents to and from appointments/ activities.
Responsibilities
As part of your role, you will: Provide
person-centred care,
including personal care and support with daily activities Assist with
cooking, household tasks, and maintaining a comfortable living environment Drive/accompany
residents to appointments, social outings, and fun activities Ensure residents are
safe, engaged, and supported
in their personal development
Essential Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will need: A valid UK driving licence and confidence in driving residents to activities Great written and verbal communication skills Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and attend training NVQ Level 2 / Diploma in Health & Social Care
(or willingness to complete the Care Certificate during induction) Previous experience in learning disability support or care work T
