Closing date: 20 February 2025 Start date: 22 April 2025 We seek a caring and empathetic individual with excellent interpersonal skills and experience of dealing with a range of complex medical needs, to join our highly respected Learning Support Department. Reporting directly to the SENCo, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and daily running of the school’s medical provision and administer medications for pupils with specific health care needs. Working in liaison with health professionals, teachers and parents you will play an integral part in ensuring all of our pupils are able to access the curriculum. Five GCSEs at minimum Grade 4/C in English, mathematics and a science subject and NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care/or an appropriate QCF Level 3 qualification are essential. Nursing experience or a nursing qualification would be an advantage. The postholder will also be responsible for fulfilling the safeguarding requirements of the role and adhering to the school’s Safeguarding Policy. We are a growing 11 – 16 comprehensive school.
