As an Education Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in the lives of our young people, supporting their daily activities, educational needs, and personal development. You will work closely with a magnificent team including teachers, therapists, and other support workers to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.
As an Education Support Worker at Victoria School, you will be able to:
1. Support students throughout the school day, in a range of subjects and activities such as Reading, Maths, ICT, PE, Swimming, Dance, Drama, Food Tech, and Music.
2. Provide the highest standards of professional support to students.
3. Communicate with the students we support, using their preferred means of communication.
4. Promote and reinforce students’ self-esteem, social development, and independence.
5. Provide direct care to all young people in line with agreed standards of care.
6. Prepare classrooms as directed for lessons, and clear afterwards.
7. Establish good working relationships with students.
8. Support students in their physical, emotional, and educational development.
