The role holder will be required to autonomously manage the day to day running of our compliance function in a growing financial services business, working in close partnership with the customer facing, operational and support teams. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day to day running of compliance activities ensuring key commitments of the Compliance Monitoring Plan are performed on time and reported to a clear and accurate standard Initiate the development of new testing activities in relation to third party partners and brokers including supporting first line in development and improvement of their testing frameworks Support the Compliance team in delivery of the testing framework including supporting the development of new tools and techniques from larger scale data analysis to individual outcome reviews Provide timely, accurate and practical compliance advice to the business during projects or in relation to day to day activities Perform quality checks on and support journey mapping of customer communications to ensure wording and phasing is in line with Consumer Duty Write high quality reports communicating outcomes of tests, actions and recommendations to the relevant stakeholders Support and manage the delivery of recommendations and actions arising from committees, meetings and other activities Support the coordination of the routine Consumer Duty reporting Coordinate FCA applications, reporting data and maintain SMCR documentation Horizon scan upcoming regulatory developments, interpreting and writing into collateral to educate and inform the business stakeholders Perform second line outcome and customer journey testing across the customer lifecycle Review and approve financial promotions and support the business in ensuring external comms including financial promotions are compliant Attend and document third party compliance and broker monitoring reviews Oversee the management of the business Document Control framework and support the Head of Compliance & Risk in identification and remediation of policy gaps. Deliver scheduled and ad hoc training for the business on relevant Compliance topics. Preparing accurate monthly Management Information packs and reports, and reporting for committees Support the completion of compliance assessments including data privacy impact assessments for new projects and onboarding of new suppliers Support the business with administering the contract management programme. Support with procurement, administration and compliance with business insurance requirements Attend relevant trade body forums, conferences and other industry meetings on hot topics affecting Financial Services. Provide day to day line management support and coaching to the team to ensure continuous quality in output for the business Proactively promote the importance and value of Compliance within the business.
