Primary Job Purpose:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Spa Therapist to join our Spa Team. The successful applicant will assist in delivering spa treatments to a high standard, promote all retail products such as skin care and makeup and upsell treatments with professionalism to enhance the guest Spa experience.
About The Role
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Provide in-depth knowledge and advice in terms of procedures and products
2. To have an understanding of all current spa promotional offers
3. To focus on service excellence, up selling / retail performance
4. Undertake a full assessment of client’s requirements and suitability of treatments and products offered.
5. Carry out all treatments to the highest professional standard
6. Must have Level 3 Beauty Qualification
7. Ensure all spa areas are kept clean and tidy at all times and ensure treatment rooms are kept fully stocked with required products and items.
8. Achieve product sales targets set by the Spa Manager
9. Undertake reception duties in the Spa and occasionally in the Leisure Club including cash handling
10. Maintain a high level of hygiene and tidy work area at all times
11. Attend staff meetings and training when required, including promotional events which may be outside working hours
12. Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and presentation at all times
13. Comply with all legal requirements in respect of health and safety and welfare of staff and customers, COSHH and Manual handling
14. Highlight maintenance issues within the spa and ensure these are reported to Spa manager
15. This job description is not exhaustive and the job holder may be required to carry out other reasonable tasks as specified by their manager.
