Job Description
1. Lead tech-related procurement activities, from sourcing to contract management.
2. Develop and implement robust category strategies across software and hardware.
3. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage performance.
4. Drive cost savings and value through innovative procurement strategies.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement objectives align with company goals.
6. Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in the market.
7. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
8. Manage risk within the supply chain.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Category Manager - Tech should have:
1. Proven experience in indirect procurement - technology and IT procurement would be ideal.
2. Excellent skills in negotiation and supplier relationship management.
3. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
4. Proficiency in tech procurement and category management.
