Job overview
We are looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our Homecare and High Cost Drugs team. We welcome applications from enthusiastic and motivated individuals ideally with a working knowledge of the pharmacy department.
We are dedicated to helping you to develop your talent, therefore, training and development opportunities tailored to you will be provided in this role.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include creating purchase orders, managing prescription checklists, processing invoices and resolving queries.
You will need to possess or be willing to work towards an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy services or equivalent level qualification.
All applicants must have excellent attention to detail, and be able to maintain a high level of accuracy. You will have good communication skills, be able to use your own initiative and be self-motivated. A good level of English, Maths and Science (GCSE level or equivalent) and computer skills are essential.

* A minimum of 2 GCSE passes at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) including Maths & English
* NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) or willing to work towards
