KEY ACTIVITIES
- Modelling and interpretation of DTS/DAS logs and associated data using FloQuest.
- Modelling and reporting on the performance and application of inflow control and intelligent completion technology, including the use of in-house techniques, nodal analysis and wellbore flow modelling.
- Engagement with Reservoir Engineering functions within the client organization to gather technical data, present results of technical studies, and provide guidance in the effective modelling of inflow and intelligent completion technologies.
- Act as trusted advisor to customers and management regarding flow control technology, well modelling and reservoir simulation.
- Providing post-installation performance analysis and interpretation, including history matching, and production optimization support.
- Training and development of technical resources through the company Business Development/ Sales function to increase capabilities of client facing organisation.
- Provide technical support as required.
- Technical authorship on Taqa technology and case histories and promotion at industry events.
- Travel to other locations in the region as required.
- Supervise and assign projects to junior SubSurface Engineering petroleum engineers and regional project engineers (as assigned), providing mentorship, training, guidance and work product review and approval.

QUALIFICATIONS
Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum or Reservoir Engineering
Preferred: Master's Degree in Petroleum or Reservoir Engineering
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
- Prior experience in a Petroleum or Reservoir Engineering functions
- Dynamic reservoir simulation and nodal analysis using commercial software.
- Experience in nodal analysis and reservoir modelling.
- Experience in application of fiber optic DTS/DAS
- Experience across multi-discipline petroleum engineering skills: e.g. geology, petrophysics, reservoir engineering and production technology.
- Working knowledge of completion technology: functionality and application
- Knowledge across multi-discipline Petroleum Engineering skills: e.g. geology, petrophysics, reservoir engineering and production technology
- Effective communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal personnel, and to represent Tendeka at industry events.
- Project management: plan and coordinate activities leading up to operations as well as follow up throughout the operations.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to work under pressure to meet client delivery expectations.
- Willingness to provide field support when needed.
Preferred:
- Experience using NETool or other well performance modelling software.
- Extensive experience using Petrel Reservoir Engineering and Eclipse Reservoir Simulator software, including the use of Advanced Multi-segment Well Model for the design and evaluation of flow control and advanced completions.
