Protocol Education is currently recruiting for a Social & Emotional Youth Worker to work in a thriving special needs school based in Buckinghamshire.
The students that attend the school have either ASD, Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs (SEMH), complex learning disabilities, or are identified as having a statement of educational need or an Educational, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school prides itself on being part of a supportive federation, aiming to support every child to develop self-esteem, achieve appropriate personal targets, and cultivate an enthusiasm for learning.
The ideal candidate will be professional and passionate about SEND/SEMH, capable of adapting to meet individual needs, including excellent behavior management.
Responsibilities:
1. Believes that every student, regardless of their background or needs, can make outstanding progress.
2. Is rigorous, relentless, determined, creative, and inspirational in their leadership style.
3. Utilizes a variety of teaching methods to present engaging lessons and CPD sessions.
4. Is caring and driven to develop strong relationships with staff, students, parents, governors, professionals, and the local community.
