SureCare Chelsea & Fulham is currently looking to recruit three experienced waking nights care/support workers to provide care in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. We are recruiting specifically for one of our clients (a young adult with autism and epilepsy), so you will have to meet the client prior to being offered a role with the company.
We are looking for care/support workers to work on a part-time basis to support our client overnight Monday to Sunday. You will be required to work 2 or 3 (sometimes 4) nights a week on a rota basis which will include weekends and bank holidays.
Although not essential, we are particularly keen to meet you if you have experience supporting service users with epilepsy, as well as working with service users with autism.
The position will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and the right to work in the UK.
Key Points:
* To be able to demonstrate a passion and commitment to providing excellent care
* Previous experience supporting service users with autism (preferred)
* Previous care experience of supporting service users with epilepsy (desirable)
* The ability to speak Cantonese (desirable)
* To ensure compliance with Company’s policies and procedures including all safeguarding procedures
* The ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with people considering their individual communication needs
* Accurately maintain all records including personal plans, personal adviser sessions, medication records and financial transaction documentation as required by SureCare Chelsea & Fulham
* Report and record (as required) any accident or incident which may occur, no matter how minor, to the appropriate person
* Actively promote an open, honest and high performance culture
* The ability to work as part of a team
* Position will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and the right to work in the UK
