A temporary position has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to work for a local company for approximately three months. The Temporary Accounts Assistant will support the Accounts department through a busy period with various responsibilities, including invoicing and bank reconciliations. Job Description for the Accounts Assistant: The role of the Accounts Assistant will include: Complete full bank account reconciliations Chase invoices, upload them to the system and reconcile statements Reconcile supplier accounts Purchase and sales ledger Reception duties including answering incoming calls Support HR with various duties including contracts, sick pay, etc. Administration duties Requirements for the Accounts Assistant: Must have experience from a similar role – accounts experience is essential Sage 50 experience is essential and Sage Payroll experience is desirable Must be at least Part AAT Qualified Must be confident with bank reconciliations Sales and purchase ledger experience Understanding of a P&L Excellent communication skills Willingness to support other areas of the business when required Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Salary: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour Brampton Recruitment is an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region
