Key Responsibilities & Duties
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Humanities Teacher to join our team and help inspire a love for learning in Humanities. In this role, you will:
* Deliver engaging and innovative lessons as a Humanities Teacher, covering subjects such as History, Geography, or Religious Studies.
* Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students across Key Stages 3 to 5.
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with SEN, ensuring all students thrive in their Humanities studies.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Humanities curriculum, contributing ideas and resources to improve the student experience.
* Promote positive behaviour and maintain a supportive learning environment in line with school policies.
* Take an active role in extracurricular activities and Humanities-related events to enrich students' educational journeys.
* Use data to assess and monitor progress, ensuring all students reach their potential in Humanities subjects.
* Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a Humanities-related subject.
* Has a genuine passion for teaching and inspiring students in the field of Humanities.
* Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills as a Humanities Teacher .
* Is proactive, organised, and eager to collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
* Shows a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
