Key Responsibilities of the Electronics Repair Engineer:
1. Possessing a recognised qualification in electronics engineering
2. Reverse engineering electronic circuits where circuit diagrams are not available
3. Capable of using skill and initiative to diagnose complex problems to component level
4. Competent in the use of a range of electronic test equipment
5. Replacing the identified components to a high standard of finish
6. Testing the equipment to ensure correct operation
7. Recording the job repair details on the in-house recording system
8. Carrying out all tasks within prescribed Health & Safety controls
9. Keen to work in a cooperative team environment
10. Demonstrate adaptability to keep up with changes of product and practice
11. Possessing a genuine interest in electronics
Skills & Experience Required:
1. Recognised qualification in electronics
2. A desire to work in the field of industrial electronic repair
3. Analytical mind
4. Enthusiastic nature
5. Experience in the repair of motor drives including their basic set-up used to test the items after repair
