The Student Support Representative will serve as the first point of contact for general information about the college and its academic/student services. Responds to walk-in, texting, and telephone inquiries from community members, students, faculty, staff, and administrators seeking assistance. Provides administrative support to the college employees housed in the Help Hub. The position is full-time, with a variable work schedule which can include working on campus and virtually. This position may require working some evening and weekend hours, especially during peak enrollment periods. Minimum Qualifications:
Experience performing administrative tasks. Customer service experience, preferably. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google suite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work with a diverse student population. Understanding of and commitment to open-access community college philosophy and student success. Successful completion and passing of a criminal background check is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher; proficiency in the use of eVA and PeopleSoft; higher education experience.
