Job Description
Baxter Thetford are looking for Production Operatives to join our fast-paced teams. This role is rotating shifts, Monday-Sunday between 06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00 which is 42 hours per week. This could look like 3 days on, 4 off, 2 nights on, 3 off etc. We offer a competitive salary AND a weekly shift allowance of £109.86. Duties & Responsibilities
9. Follow EHS/GMP/GDP/company and corporate policies and external regulatory requirements.
10. Operate within the Baxter documentation procedures (BaxU) and requirements meeting all safety quality and performance guidelines, ensuring batch paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
11. Identify quality defects and reject them. Escalate issues to the team leader – may be involved in rectifying issues with support
12. Maintains the optimum line performance throughout the shift by adjusting the machine within validated parameters.
13. Performs daily and weekly cleaning of the equipment and the area
14. Be actively involved in improvement programs, demonstrating a willingness to embrace new ways of working
Experience required:
15. Experience of working in a GMP environment (pharma, food, FMCG)
16. Quality focused – able to deal with routine, repetitive tasks whilst maintaining good attention to detail
17. Team Working - working as part of a team & sharing workload fairly with a willingness to work co-operatively and supportively in order to solve problems and achieve team targets
18. Maintains high standards of behaviour whilst managing workload
19. Process Orientated - must follow set standards and ways of working
20. Flexible - able to carry out varied tasks often at short notice, adjust break timings around the production, work additional hours and adjust working hours as required by the business
21. Ability to remain calm in a fast paced environment
22. Punctuality is key as well as strong attendance
23. Good standard of English comprehension - Able to understand written and verbal communication and speak, read, and write in English
24. Well organised and task driven
25. Experience using fork trucks would be advantageous but not essential
26. Experience setting up and changing over machines would be advantageous but not essential
