Experience
Essential criteria
* Good and wide ranging recent experience of clinical medicine.
* Capacity to apply sound clinical knowledge and judgement.
* Potential to develop excellent diagnostic skills.
Desirable criteria
* UK experience of three months or more
* Experience in a large acute hospital
* Substantive UK/Irish experience
* At least two full years' post graduate clinical experience equivalent to foundation training
Communication
Essential criteria
* Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
* Basic skills in presentations for professional and non-professional groups.
* Basic computer skills
* Demonstrable skills in spoken English, adequate to enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues.
Desirable criteria
* Ability to contribute to a multi-disciplinary team.
Training and Qualifications
Essential criteria
* MBBS or equivalent
* GMC Registration with licence to practice
* MRCP Part 1, 2.
