Menzies Distribution Solutions are currently looking for an experienced HR Systems & Data Analyst to join our busy team. Reporting to the HR Systems Manager, you will be responsible for delivering an efficient system support service and ensuring data integrity across all HR Systems, whilst supporting the development and management of the HR and Payroll systems, ensuring that systems are used to their maximum potential and data is accurate to support business needs.
The role will also involve:
* Support, development, and maintenance of the iTrent system
* Acting as a super user of iTrent, supporting the work of the HR team & the wider business through the collation, manipulation and interpretation of data when required
The Details
* Location: North West of England
* Salary: £30k-£35k (Dependent on experience)
* Monday to Friday
* Hours: 09:00-17:00 (35 Hours Per Week)
* Holiday Allowance: 25 Days plus 8 Bank Holidays
*** Experience using Business Objects (A reporting tool) is essential.***
Key Accountabilities
* Responsible for developing MI reports to support business needs along with additional projects and initiatives.
* Ensure employee data is correct and up to date including conducting Data Protection checks and data housekeeping activities.
* Work with MHR on fixes and changes to the systems.
* Research and contribute new ideas for HR management information.
* Ensure employees/managers understand their responsibilities with self-service functionality and ensure employee changes are updated and processes are adhered to.
* Collaborate with HR to ensure HR systems and reporting is meaningful and continually supports the business.
* Contribute to projects designed to develop and enhance Menzies HR and related systems, ensuring that such projects are properly scoped, resourced, managed and delivered on time and on budget.
* Drive data accuracy and consistency to ensure the business is able to make clear data lead decisions.
* Support HR Systems Manager to transform current HR and payroll processes to be efficient, consistent and streamlined.
* Assist and partner with other teams across Menzies, adhering to data protection guidelines.
* Support the iTrent upgrade process including relevant system testing across all modules.
* Update the HR System with any changes to the organisational structure (i.e., reporting lines).
* Provide accurate, timely and user-friendly reports to HR, Payroll, people managers, external regulatory bodies and other system users using Business Objects, in line with agreed requirements.
* Ensure that system documentation is accurate and complete for all systems in the HR Systems Team’s area of responsibility.
* Develop and maintain appropriate training mechanisms for users, including written guides, on-line and face to face training.
* Create/maintain user logins and support users with access issues.
Key Experience and Qualifications
* Proven background of work with HR systems and data, preferably iTrent and an experienced user of Business Objects.
* Developing and maintaining strong internal relationships.
* Good communication skills, both orally and written, with the ability to produce high quality and effective documentation/reports on complex issues.
* Proven computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
* Attention to detail, commitment to quality work and well organised.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Willing to learn new systems, concepts and methods as industry & initiatives dictate.
* A genuine passion for HR systems and data.
