To help them achieve this you will need to be flexible, as you are required to work shifts including bank holidays, weekends and potential sleep ins.\n\nIf your best traits are positivity, friendliness and innovation then this job is for you!\n\nMain duties and responsibilities:\n\nTo participate in the day to day implementation of the individual’s support plans and activities within a challenging environment\n\nTo maintain effective communication and liaise with the service users, families and other staff members whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality\n\nTo prepare meals, do cleaning and laundry duties\n\nTo maintain accurate notes and records when required\n\nTo work as part of a team to provide high quality care\n\nPersonal care is required.\n\nPersonal Characteristics:\n\nDiploma in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards one.\n\nExperience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues.\n\nThe ability to keep calm under pressure.\n\nThe confidence to work alone or as part of a team.\n\nExcellent communication skills\n\nThe passion to work with vulnerable adults\n\nThe desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding.\n\nThe Organisation: \n\nCareTech Community Services Ltd is a provider of specialist social care services supporting 5000 adults with a wide range of needs in more than 300 services across the UK.
