Job Description B2C Field Sales Specification Person - Job Specification A leading window and door supply and installation company is seeking an experienced Field Sales Specification Person to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: - Sales Development: Identify and target new sales opportunities within the fenestration market, focusing on specification sales for windows, doors, and curtain wall systems. - Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, contractors, and developers, ensuring their product needs are met and exceeded. - Product Knowledge & Demonstration: Provide detailed product specifications and technical expertise to support clients in making informed decisions. Deliver presentations and product demonstrations when required. - Achieving Sales Targets: Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the company. Develop and execute strategic sales plans for the territory. - Specification Management: Oversee the entire specification process, from initial enquiry to final project delivery, ensuring seamless communication between clients, the design team, and production departments. - Negotiation & Closing: Conduct negotiations and close sales deals, managing pricing, delivery timelines, and project requirements. - Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer feedback, identifying opportunities for product development or improvement. Requirements: - Experience: Proven sales experience within the windows, doors, or construction materials sector, with a solid track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. - Sales Record: Demonstrable success in specification sales and a solid understanding of fenestration products. - Industry Expertise: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents. - Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. - Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients across the region.
