What you’ll do at work
In this wide ranging apprenticeship, you will learn to:
* Test, Diagnose and repair faults on electronic products to component level
* Read circuit diagrams and assembly drawings
* Learn hand soldering techniques and use of a rework station
* Use electronic test equipment
* Understand components, resistor colour codes and component polarities
* Understand relevant procedures, standards, engineering and technical documentation

Your training plan
On completion of the apprenticeship, you will have achieved the following qualifications:
* ST1395 Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
* Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering – Technical Support Technician (Development Competence)
The final apprenticeship completion certificate will be issued on achievement of the above qualification and successful completion of end point assessment.

Other requirements
As with all apprenticeships, this requires a long term commitment – there will be assignments and log book entries to complete. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a top company, whilst you work towards nationally recognised qualifications. We are advertising for 1 apprentice but if we can present 2 good candidates, Hanover will employ both.
