Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
1. Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
2. Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
3. Change bed linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and properly presented.
4. Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products as needed.
5. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
6. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests or concerns with professionalism.
7. Assist with laundry duties when required, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
8. Occasionally prepare light meals or snacks for guests if required.
Experience
1. Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
2. Experience in a hotel environment is advantageous.
3. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
4. Basic cooking skills would be beneficial for preparing simple meals or snacks.
5. A proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation is essential.
