Applications are invited for an individual to join our multidisciplinary Older People’s Community Mental Health Team.
As the successful applicant, you will have experience of working with people with a wide range of mental health problems and have current knowledge of best practice in Mental Health Nursing. The post holder will work in partnership to provide psychosocial and psychological interventions, facilitating, enabling and supporting people within their homes and communities. This will be inclusive of providing mental health liaison support within residential/nursing care where required.
There will be a requirement to provide a supervisory role to junior members of staff within the nursing team, and to fulfil the CMHT Duty Worker role.
Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team you will demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills as a core component of your role. Within this role the successful candidate will be involved within the integrated older peoples work streams across Perth City.
