Proactive Global, acting on behalf of one of our clients based in Milton Keynes, is recruiting for a Facilities Assistant to support the day-to-day running of their office. This is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone practical, reliable, and approachable. No two days are the same—you’ll need to stay flexible, respond quickly to requests, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly.
Role Mission
The Facilities Assistant helps ensure the office environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained. You’ll be responsible for cleaning, light repairs, restocking supplies, setting up events, and being a helpful point of contact for staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning & Housekeeping
• Clean and maintain toilets, offices, shared areas, and other facilities
• Empty bins and remove general waste and recycling
• Clean surfaces, windows, and floors
• Keep tea and coffee areas stocked with clean cups, milk, soft drinks, etc.
Event Support
• Set up and pack down meeting rooms and event spaces
• Move and arrange furniture as needed
• Ensure rooms are clean and organised before and after use
General Support
• Assist staff and direct visitors when needed
• Receive and distribute post and deliveries
• Report and help resolve any minor issues on-site
Administrative Tasks
• Keep basic records of maintenance work and repairs
• Monitor stock levels (toiletries, paper, supplies) and replenish as needed
• Support ad hoc admin and office tasks when required
